The Carbon Positive Awards is built on independence. Our selection process is led by the Green Cross UK team, supported by volunteers and AI tools — with no sponsorships, no payments, and no outside influence. Just people who care deeply about getting this right.
We are a small group, and we know it. We bring different instincts, different doubts, different ways of seeing the world. We debate every decision — because the only way to avoid blind spots is to let them be challenged. Every winner is discussed openly. Every justification is published.
But we also know that more perspectives make us better. That's why we're actively looking to grow — to bring in voices from outside who can push our thinking, deepen our expertise, and help us see what we might miss.
