ROSHN Group

This award recognises ROSHN Group for embedding ecological restoration into the core of real estate development at national scale. In 2025, ROSHN inaugurated the ROSHN Green Initiative Center (RGIC), a nursery with annual production capacity of 2,000 trees, building on a cumulative record of over 32,000 seedlings, 25,000 mangrove trees and 4,300 additional trees planted across the Kingdom. The inauguration was accompanied by four sustainability agreements covering the circular economy, carbon reduction and ecological regeneration.

Over 3,000 volunteers and 75 schools were engaged directly, turning residential projects SEDRA, ALMANAR and ALAROUS into measurable terrestrial carbon sinks. For systematically converting urban growth into ecological recovery aligned with the Saudi Green Initiative, ROSHN Group receives this recognition. The ecological scope of ROSHN's programme reflects a deliberate integration of biodiversity outcomes into real estate value creation — a model with replication potential across the Gulf's rapidly urbanising development landscape.

By embedding nurseries, volunteer networks and school engagement into residential masterplans, ROSHN is institutionalising ecological restoration as a standard component of Saudi urban development, generating measurable carbon sinks and biodiversity value at neighbourhood level.
