This award recognises a renewable energy partnership for turning portfolio scale into measurable decarbonisation. By the end of 2025, Brookfield Renewable Partners had grown its global operating capacity to 47,200 megawatts, over 96% of which is renewable, supported by a development pipeline exceeding 200 gigawatts. In July 2025, the company signed a first‑of‑its‑kind Hydro Framework Agreement with Google, the world’s largest corporate clean‑power deal for hydroelectricity, to deliver up to 3,000 megawatts of carbon‑free hydropower across the United States.

By securing long‑term power purchase agreements with hyperscalers, and by expanding its sustainable‑solutions segment to include nuclear services (Westinghouse), carbon capture, renewable natural gas and eFuels, Brookfield has demonstrated that a large‑scale, diversified clean‑energy portfolio is a verifiable engine of global decarbonisation.
