This award recognises the world’s largest environmental disclosure system, which in 2025 saw more than 22,100 companies representing over half of global market capitalisation report their environmental data through a single, integrated framework. With its A List programme, CDP distinguished 877 corporate leaders from nearly 20,000 scored entities. By turning raw corporate data into scores that investors, customers and policymakers can compare and trust, CDP has made transparency a measurable asset rather than a voluntary exercise.

More than a database, CDP is the disclosure infrastructure upon which the global transition to net zero depends. Its questionnaires, methodologies and public scores provide the verifiable evidence chain that allows capital markets to allocate finance, regulators to design policy and companies to benchmark progress. In 2025, 640 investors managing $127 trillion in assets formally requested disclosure through CDP, confirming that what gets measured – and made public – is what gets managed. For building the accountability backbone of corporate climate action, CDP receives this recognition.
