Goldwind

Leadership in Onshore Wind

This award recognises Goldwind for supplying the wind turbines that directly power the world’s largest integrated green hydrogen‑ammonia‑methanol project. In 2025, the company completed the installation of all 67 turbines (510 MW capacity) for Phase I of the CEEC Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park in China, a facility that will produce 200,000 tonnes of green ammonia and 20,000 tonnes of green methanol annually using 100 % green power. By enabling the substitution of fossil‑based hydrogen with renewably generated electrolytic hydrogen, Goldwind’s turbines displace carbon‑intensive feedstocks in the fertiliser and chemical industries, turning wind energy into a direct tool for industrial decarbonisation.

Goldwind’s contribution to the global energy transition is also reflected in its installation scale: with 29.7 GW of new wind capacity commissioned in 2025, the company claimed the number‑one spot among global turbine manufacturers. Cumulatively, Goldwind has installed over 128 GW of wind power, displacing an estimated 160 million tonnes of CO₂ annually – equivalent to planting 4.4 billion mature trees.

For combining industrial‑scale deployment with the integration of wind power into hard‑to‑abate sectors, Goldwind receives this recognition.
